CAT Footwear x Nigel Cabourn AW23
Really excited to introduce my second shoot for Caterpillar has recently launched, this time shooting their AW23 collection in collaboration with Nigel Cabourn. We ventured to RAF Hayford for the CAT AW23 shoot, I knew it would be a unique and memorable experience. The location, steeped in history since its opening in 1918, offered intriguing textures and structures that perfectly complemented CAT's rugged aesthetic.
Despite the biting cold and unexpected snowfall (thanks to a level 3 cold weather action Arctic blast), we pushed forward. The vast open space of the airfield became our canvas, allowing us to capture the essence of CAT's latest collection.
In the month leading up to the shoot, we conducted a recce of the location, carefully selecting shapes and textures that would enhance our shots. The production team ensured we were well looked after, and we worked tirelessly from first light to last light, chasing the fleeting natural beauty of the setting sun.
Collaborating with the entire cast was a pleasure, as was reuniting with long-term collaborator Gordon, who provided his expertise in stills and lighting. This was my second time shooting with CAT, for their campaign and lookbook created in partnership with Nigel Cabourn, a designer whose vision perfectly aligned with CAT's ethos.
