I noticed something unique each gallery's booth had distinct, sought-after furniture perfectly complementing the artwork. Documenting these remarkable chairs—an art in themselves.
Frieze London, held annually in October at Regent's Park, stands as a global showcase for contemporary art and living artists. In my recent venture commissioned by LN-CC, I immersed myself in this influential art fair, navigating its dynamic landscape with model-musician Xiaoqiao Wang.
What caught my attention, however, were the chairs.
Each gallery boasted its unique selection, carefully chosen to complement the surrounding artwork. As I strolled through the booths, it became apparent that these chairs were more than just functional items; they were integral components of the artistic narrative.
The concept of documenting these remarkable chairs emerged from their ability to add another layer of creativity to the Frieze experience.
