Its been almost 10 years since i shot any editorial content for LN-CC. This month I got back on the horse with this the first of two features and I fucking loved it! So good to be back.
The brave editorial juxtaposition LN-CC is known for is all evident, combining Stone Islands latest collection with 3 of Arsenals Academy Stars and Finsbury Park Bowls Club and its members.
The clubs charmingly patina’d prefabs and changing rooms and beautifully aged members made a great place to shoot.

When shooting in real locations and working around and with members of the public it can sometimes be touch and go. Some people do not like their photograph taking, don’t understand the work, and generally feel the inconvenience of having their, in this case, Wednesday Bowls session disrupted. Not a jot of it with the Finsbury Park lot, what an absolute pleasure captain Peter Paine and the members were! A jolly, friendly, and wonderfully happy bunch they all were, throwing on pieces for us, sitting for portraits and generally encouraging us to have a good time! I think this is reflected in the final photographs still life, the talent, and the club members all contributing to a solid final story.
